Advertise my rv on another website and was called by eBay motors to take over for $400
Does eBay motors check other Webb sites and call the person on it an try to sell their vehicle for them

·2 years ago1). eBay has nothing, repeat NOTHING to do with anything on another site.
2). I’m sure you were told that this was a woman (nope, picture some guy in an Internet cafe in Nigeria)
3)There’s a sob story (husband/son died, it brings bad memories; supposedly in the military being quickly deployed; etc) to explain the low price
4) payment must be in eBay/Apple/Vanilla gift cards. The scammer wants those because they’re untraceable and there’s no way to get your money back. (But I always wonder why people don’t question the idea of eBay accepting Apple or Vanilla cards in the way it’s being presented).
4) you’ll get an invoice that’s supposedly from eBay but is really just a good fake, and any phone number on it connects to the scammer, not eBay.

·2 years agoThe scammers are not try to sell the OP an RV they are offering to help sell his RV.
Still it is a scam.

These are scammers who will ask you to send them money.
