Adjustments on shipping fees
I just got an extra charge added to my account of almost $40 after buying a$10 label from eBay for shipping one golf club. I estimated it to weigh about 3 lbs and the box size to be 48x6x6. This seems pretty scammy and it’s not the first time it’s happened. I’ve delt with eBay in years past and until recently this never occurred. I will never ship using their payment method for labels again and if possible I will find other platforms to sell extra clubs. I might as well just donate the clubs to first tee instead of this.

FedEx is the issue not eBay. I stopped using them years ago when I got charged twice what customers were paying. This was when FedEx labels were invoiced through eBay-PayPal and the charges would not show up until well after shipment or delivery. Neither eBay or FedEx would explain their "Other charges" on the shipping bill.
As it relates to a golf club in a 48 x 6 x 6 box even at 4 lbs here is what USPS shows for shipment from your location to mine in PA. On one of your listings I see less than $ 18 using FedEx. You are getting hosed by FedEx my friend and we read about that ALL the time here.

Mentor11 months agoDid you ship using USPS? They have a surcharge for long packages. That is why sellers of golf clubs have switched to using Fed Ex or UPS.

OP11 months agoThis was initially an ups label. I thought the same thing. Maybe fedex would be better. $40 to ship one light hybrid golf club in a standard size box is a joke. I feel like I got blindsided by someone looking to scam extra money.
