adjust my shipping policy without affecting my offers that i sent to potential buyers
Hi I just recently got into the reseller business i do have a store I have a buyer who recently asked if I would ship to a joining state by Oct fifteenth my shipping is calculated with feet ground and feet ground home delivery along with ups and USPS ground. I Kant change my policy because I have 7 offers that i sent out to potential buyers so my listing is locked. what should i do or say to the buyer that is asking for the quick shipping and or how do I change my policy without affecting the 7 offers ?

OP10 months agoI have another question can i upgrade a buyers shipping from ground to priority and pay for it myself so that the purchased item arrives at buyers destination on or before the date he wants it to be delivered on. if i can do that, how would i go about it?

Mentor10 months agoYou can upgrade shipping without an issue, but it doesn't make sense to do that at all. You will likely hurt yourself financially. There really is no need to do that. Just ship it as you state in the listing they purchase from.

OP10 months agoEverything worked out for my last question. I left the shipping as it was I shipped item yesterday buyer got it today. mam98031 I totally understand your advice to my question. Your advice lockd in the Confidence with in myself about my shipping policies. My policies are written fair and correct I don't need to change them either they like or they don't like that's their choice. Thank you again

Actually you can't make changes like that to a listing you have extended current offers on. Once the offers time out or the buyer purchases the item, then you can revise the listing.
You can however ADD an additional shipping service on the listing. You just can't remove or change stuff.

OP10 months agoThank you mam98031 that's all I wanted to know was how to add another avenue for the buyers to be able to choose from when choosing a carrier. Thanks agian
