Address embedded in USPS QR code differs from address written with letters/words, but USPS uses QR code to route the package. Same issue last 3 sales!!!!!!
Bought a USPS shipping label through ebay. The correct mailing address for buyer was printed on the label HOWEVER the QR code had a different address embedded into it. Went back and realized this has happened for the past 3 sales I made. Post Office says the QR code was re-used 3 times. Yet the tracking numbers are numerically different. Cannot find a way to connect with ebay agent - the AI never lets me through. Have removed all items 'for sale' from ebay as there is NO WAY to resolve issues like this. As I read the posts of others, items being sent to wrong address, I'll bet they are all running into this same issue. There is no way for us to see this with the naked eye - the address on the label looks good - but the address embedded in the QR code is different. EBAY HELP, for crying out loud.
