Additional postage
What happens when you purchase an item and then upon delivery, the Postmaster has to collect additional postage over and above what I already paid ? The seller mailed the item in a priority flat rate box not realizing he would have to pay the shipping cost associated with the box itself. Knowing no returns were accepted, my son went ahead and paid the additional shipping. Is this something he can now collect from the seller?

Mentor2 years agoYou can ask the seller to reimburse you, but eBay can not force him to send you the money.
You could have refused delivery and opened a not received claim, or told the seller you would refuse it to see if he would send you the money to pay the amount due. (Just so you know if it happens again.)
