Additional fees with free shipping from japan
An item I'm looking at buying has free shipping from Japan to the u.s. where I am but there is a disclaimer about not being responsible for additional fees at customs, etc...and doing my own due diligence. Is a guitar effect pedal likely to have any fees like this attached to it?

Mentor3 years agoYou can import up to $800 per day with no import tax. There are no additional fees if sent through the mail.
If the seller uses DHL, fedex, or even eBay’s global shipping, there may be a brokerage fee for the carrier to bring the item through customs. If eBay’s global shipping, you would see that fee during checkout.
