Adding Weight per Variation
I created a listing, and entered weight.
However, I have 3 variations, which means shipping weight is different on all 3.
How do I enter a weight for each variation?
Without this, my shipping fee will be too large on my smaller variations, or too small on my heavier packages.
Please help 🙂

Variations only allow one weight. I have several listings that are the same way.
I've chosen to do free shipping for those variations, and build the varying shipping cost into the price.

OP8 months agoThank you for replying.
Doesn't your 'varying shipping cost' have a wide margin based on where the package is shipping? Or is your packages pretty small, generally speaking so the shipping is nominal?
I'm dealing with 20-30 lb packages, so the further it goes, cost is significant.

Mentor8 months agoIf shipping cost is such you can't build it into the variation price, you will need to list the variations separately using Calculated Shipping.

My variations are 4 oz to 1 lb 8 oz (or higher with multiples)
Yes the cost varies a far amount, but I look at the averages, rather than each transaction.
With 20-30 lb packages, you may need to do the variations separately as @rfmtm suggests.
Ground Advantage Rates
20 lbs and 12x12x12 or smaller
$10.42 - $23.80
30 lbs and 12x12x12 or smaller
$28.04 - $90.06

OP8 months agook, sounds good.
Thanks for all the support.
I've created a few listings, does EBAY allow me to detach the variation and keep all the same attributes/details without recreating the entire listing?

If your listing is Active, try Sell Similar and then editing out the things you don't want.
If your listing is a Draft, make a Copy in the draft page.
