Adding SKU numbers to listings

Question

Good morning,Our business is growing to the point where we would like to start using SKU numbers to track our inventory. I am unable to find a field in the listing page that allows me to add an SKU number. Thanks to anyone who may be able to help.

Many people use the Custom Field / SKU for item location. It doesn't display to the buyer.

You will need to use the “Advanced Listing Tool" or the Mobile App to use the SKU field. (The "Quick Listing Tool" does not have a SKU field)

A) On the "Advanced Listing Tool" form, to get Custom Field SKU

1) Click the "See Title Options" menu that is to the right of the Title
2) Flip the switch to add Custom Label (SKU)
3) Click Done
-- You should now have the SKU field on your screen

B) The Mobile App has SKU in "Item Specifics".

1) Click the Pencil beside Item Specifics
2) Scroll to the very bottom of the list

TIP:
If you still don't see a SKU field on your listings, then you need to Opt-In to "Seller Hub" on the website to enable that field on both the website and the mobile app.

Here are steps to use Seller hub
-->> You can Opt-In to Seller Hub here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing

Overview: https://www.ebay.com/sh/ovw
Listings: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
Drafts: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts

Then go back to your listing and you should be able to select the SKU field as described above.

Using Seller Hub is the best way to add a SKU to an already listed item.

1) Go here https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active

2) Click the "Customize table" in the upper mid right

3) Check the box to add the SKU Column to your list of active listings.

4) Scroll down to your item and use the Pencil to edit the SKU field, Quantity Field, Price, etc.

You can update your variation SKU, quantity, and price right there, without opening your listing.
