adding shipping charges to international shipping company orders to cover additional postage needed
I have several customers who use international shipping companies based in the USA. Sometimes their packages are too small/thin to get tracking. The only way to then get a tracking number is for me, seller, to buy additional postage in the form of a registered or certified letter, at my cost. Is there a way to say somewhere (where?) all orders going through an international shipping company will have an $5.00 additional postal charge? And if the shipping company loses the parcel there will be no refund? I am really tired of losing revenue because of the shipping company losing items. They usually have a special number to put on the package for each person, but that doesn't seem to help them keep track and they lose parcels. If an order is fat enough to get a tracking number automatically, there is usually no problem. thanks
