Adding insurance after EBay shipping label was generated

I need to add a lot more additional insurance for an item I sold using eBay shipping labels How do I do this ?

You can't. You need to cancel the label and start over. The refund for the cancelled label takes about 3 weeks.

Go to Manage shipping labels - opens in new window or tab.
Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select Cancel Label.
Choose your reason for canceling the label.
Select Send request.
