Adding a checking account

Question

I set up a new account for personal use & selling (not for a business). When I go to add my checking account to receive payments, that option isn't available (only credit/ debit, PayPal, Venmo).

I've tried contacting eBay customer service but ai chat is useless here.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Any insight to how I can fix whatever is going on?

You are in the wrong place to add that information. Those options are for payments for items purchased. When you make your first listing it will ask you to verify your checking account before listing the item.
