Active listings staying active after a sale
I've contacted eBay several times about my sold items remaining active after the item has sold.
For some reason nobody can fix it. Everytime I call, they say that there is a ticket in for tech support to resolve it. That never happens. I am getting very frustrated with the support. Their advice is to manually delete my sold item, one by one after each sale.

OP8 months agoI totally agree with you. There are way to many feature for my brain little to comprehend. I have another issue that Ive been trying to figure on shipping.
I sell very small wrenches around 3" long that weigh less than 2 ounces. They qualify for first class shipping when I bring the item to the post office to be shipped.
However, on eBay the site FORCE'S me to go with usps ground service because it is a tool/wrench. I truly do not understand why, because it will easily fit in an first class envolope and meet the parameters of a F class envolope of 11.5" x .25" x 5.125"

eBay doesn’t force you to use ground advantage - there’s just no label to print for first class. Without tracking, no label is needed. You can hand write the address and use stamps, or pay at your PO at your have done.
You then manually mark as shipped. You do risk having to refund if your buyer says not received, since you have no tracking to prove delivery.

OP8 months agoThat is exactly what the problem was. Thank you very much.

I’m glad that was it.
There are so many features to this site, you can’t know them all unless you’ve used them.

It sounds like you have the out of stock option turned on - it keeps items with 0 available active but hidden so you can restock. This is for sellers that sell repeatable items.
Check here - https://www.ebay.com/uas/selling-pref under multi quantity listings. If the button is on (to the right) slide it left.
