Acer Nitro Computer Trouble after receipt of goods
Hello,
I recently purchased a newly refurbished gaming computer (Acer Nitro 60) and when it arrived the video card had been dislodged in shipping causing damage. I contacted the seller (Acer) and told them I would like to exchange the item as they are still selling the same item on eBay. The seller said "Thank you for reaching out. I apologize greatly for the issues with this order. Currently, we are unable to offer a replacement for this unit, however if you would like to open a return in the marketplace, a prepaid return label will be issued directly to this order. Once this unit has been delivered back to our warehouse we will make sure to issue a full refund. If there is anything further that we can assist with please let us know."
I responded back "By returning it, without you issuing the credit that I received for the sale, I would be paying more for it. The Coupon saved me : $280.00 USD.By returning it, without you issuing the credit that I received for the sale, I would be paying more for it. The Coupon saved me : $280.00 USD. Please Issue me a Single Use Coupon for $280.00 USD and I will re-order another one now, while I return the damaged computer via RMA"
"The sale was for 20% off the price."
How do I get the seller (Acer) to honor the sale price that I originally agreed to instead of getting the run around from them now as they no longer want to honor their original list price and want me to pay 20% More for the item that I purchased ?!
Thank you.

Some sellers offer a discount on purchases, but only ebay can post coupons on this site. So a seller cannot reissue one or reimburse you more than you paid for an item. eBay will not force the seller to honor the coupon price or to send a replacement for the computer. Your only option is to file a not as described dispute and get a full refund.
FYI, You need to check each seller's feedback profile before buying from one. I would have bought from a different seller. Never go by a feedback percentage alone. If you do not know how to check a seller's classic profile page read the instructions below.
On an item's listing page in the upper right under the seller's username and feedback number you will see 3 buttons
Clicking on their percentage of positives is one way to get to their profile the other is further down the listing page where you see the seller's username in a large font. Under it will be a few comments, and under that a ( See All Feedback) button. Click on it. On the page that opens you will see the following line above some comments.
Click on the switch back to classic view. In the upper left is the seller's country or registry, and below that is a box with the number's of neutral and negative feedback a seller has received. those numbers can be clicked on to read only those comments and the seller's replies if any. Under the box are buttons to see All feedback, As a buyer / Seller /Left for others. You want to see their selling feedback, because a seller can have a fair number of feedback and even a 100% rating but all for buying at least in the last year. Sellers who have no selling feedback or have received none in over a year often run into problems so you should avoid buying from them, until you have more experience.
When you click on the As a seller button just above the first comments on the right is a box w/ [Most Relevant v ] click on that to see their [Most Recent] feedback.
Feedback percentages can be misleading the rule of thumb is not to buy from high feedback number sellers who have a 98.6% or lower percentage. A seller with low feedback number can have a lower percentage for receiving just one negative.
