Accused me of selling something counterfeit; I bought it directly from Paula's Choice
I bought Paula's Choice 2% BHA lotion through Paula's Choice. When my doctor placed me on retin-A (a topical medication) that won't allow me to use this anymore, I put the ones I had up for sale. Today I got an email from eBay that the two items had been removed: "We had to remove your listing because it didn't follow our Counterfeit item policy. We don't allow counterfeit items, replicas, or unauthorized copies." Wth? I bought them directly from Paula's Choice. They aren't counterfeit. I've been on eBay for many years and have sold well over 800 items and have never sold anything counterfeit. It's not a business for me; it's just a place I get rid of excess things I don't need or want and they're things I buy directly from the source. My reviews are stellar. I guess it bothers me more that they accused me of selling something counterfeit when I know it isn't and that they offer no reasoning for the unfounded accusation or recourse to deal with it. Yes, my account is still in good standing. Is this likely caused by Paula's Choice trying to flag things and keep others from selling their products at all, even if I bought them myself from Paula's Choice?
