accounting for non-Ebay sales on taxes
I give a profit-loss statement to our accountant with a line for ebay sales (also all the expenses). I am hoping to sell a lot of books off ebay later this year. If you do and submit a profit-loss statement do you just include a line for "other"? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I plan to account for the non-ebay sales. I am going to include a line for the cash I get from the used bookstore but label the line with the store name and report the sales.
