account was hacked was scammed out of 243 have proof did not receice it
My eBay account was scammed/ hacked, they got my debit card information from being a seller. I have never made a purchase from eBay without PayPal in 18 years I have had an account with them. I tried contacting seller 8xs ( item was non returnable/refundable) they never responded. I filed with eBay and they denied and closed case cause tracking number shows it was delivered to the town I live in but not my address or name on package. I contacted USPS the tracking number does not match anything to do with me or this item, weight etc wrong nothing to do with this eBay purchase. I contacted my bank and they were no help because they had all my information from my card from being hacked saying I made this purchase. eBay said if bank denies call back and will get the I didn't receive item refund. After over a month a trip to hospital because the money they took was for my medication I am disabled and on disability very limited income ( would never have spent 243 on a belt to begin with). eBay now says since my appeal was denied cause tracking number says delivered to my town and I filed with bank like they told, I am not eligible for the I didn't receive item refund. If I try to get them to call me I get a thing saying email them. When try to email says server error for days. They have blocked my account won't help me the post office says call the police and the BBB but what is that going to help? any help would be appreciated.

Mentor2 years agoThe bots see that tracking states DELIVERED so you will automatically lose an Item Not Received case.
Take the tracking down to the carrier and have them check their GPS coordinates to see exactly where the package was delivered. If not to your address, the carrier should try and retrieve the package. Then you upload a copy of that letterhead into an appeal, to get your money back.

If it was to your address, the package may have been stolen. Contact the police department as well as your homeowners insurance.
