Account update after payout sent to wrong account

Question

I've recently returned to ebay selling. I forgot to update my account payout info on Ebay (I had updated my paypal account). The payout was sent to the old account. I feel like I should TALK to an agent to get them to claw back the payout and then update in my account. Advice?

If your bank account that you had registered with eBay is no longer active (closed) then the bank should bounce back the payment and will look for a new account for payment.
