Account Terminated Without Clear Justification After 10 Years of Selling
 
 
 
Dear eBay Support,
I am writing as a 10-year seller with a proven track record to urgently request a final review or clear explanation regarding the restriction placed on my selling account.
I’ve been a loyal seller on eBay for over a decade, consistently operating within eBay’s policies. I have delivered all items with tracking, maintained buyer satisfaction, and resolved disputes quickly and transparently.
Yet, despite this consistent performance, I’ve received a permanent selling restriction with no specific reason provided, no policy cited, and no real opportunity to appeal. I was told I am “inconsistent,†yet as of today, my seller level is Above Standard and I’m on track to be Top Rated in the next evaluation (as seen in the attached screenshots). If my account truly showed patterns of risk or inconsistency, how is it eligible for Top Rated Seller status?
I’ve reached out multiple times through live chat and email, and each time I’ve been dismissed without a proper explanation or escalation. I’ve received vague responses and scripted messages, even when asking directly for an appeal.
I respectfully ask the following:
- Please review my account in full, including tracking history, defect rate, buyer feedback, and service metrics.
- Clarify which specific policies were violated, if any, and how they justify a permanent restriction.
- If no specific policy was violated, please consider reversing the decision or allowing a monitored probation period instead of a full restriction.
This decision has not only impacted my account — it disregards years of work and a hard-earned reputation built entirely on transparency and reliability. If eBay truly values fair treatment and factual evaluation, I believe I’ve earned the right to at least a final review and a chance to continue contributing to the platform.
