Account Suspended?
Summary: mcxn93 is experiencing issues with their eBay account, having sold nearly $2000 in products. Initially, a $900 payment was successfully processed, but subsequent payments have been withheld due to eBay requesting additional bank information. Despite changing banks and receiving assurances from eBay support, the issues persist. Recently, their account was suspended indefinitely for insufficient information, leaving over $500 pending. mcxn93 is seeking advice on retrieving the withheld funds.
From August 2026 through this week I have sold close to $2000 worth of products on Ebay. My first payment went through fine for $900 dollars to my bank of choice. Then Ebay started requesting information from my bank which I forwarded to them. they kept bumping all my information back to me saying it wasn't sufficient. So I changed banks for payments. Same problem. Very frustrating. Actually chatted with a real human from EBAY who said everything would be fine. Well it wasn't and it currently isn't! I have over $500 sitting for payment. I find out last night that my account has been suspended indefinitely for insufficient information. This is crazy. First, you can't speak to anyone on the phone. Their help section is horrible. How do I get the money that is sitting for payment?

Here are some common issues
- The email and phone number listed here must be marked "verified": https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile
- Your Bank Account name MUST -exactly- match your eBay Account Name. First Middle Last
- Your Bank Account MUST be a Checking Account.
- If you have a Business Checking Account, your eBay Account must be a "Business” type.
- Your profile address must be a street address. (Your shipping address can be different)
Repeat: Make sure that your Checking Account name is the same as your eBay Account. IE John Q Smyth is not the same as John Smyth or John Quentin Smythe
Repeat: It must be a Checking account, not a Savings, Cash Management, Debit, or Prepaid account.
