Account restrictions
I think I have been restricted from selling. I tried to list an item but received an 'alert' message stating 'unfortunately you won't be able to list any items. Go to the ebay resolution center to resolve your open cases. After resolving your cases reply to the email in your messages in my ebay'
When I go to the resolution centre all I have is some very general advice articles. There's nothing specific.
I bid on a kitchen and was liaising with the seller, arranging a time and payment, etc. but ebay cancelled the sale. This is a hugely complicated thing to organise.
Last year I listed some bike bits incorrectly and 4 sales were refunded. I never sent out 2 items before this, one other was returned to me, the 4th was never returned. These remained I guess unresolved. Could this be the problem? Must be over 6 months ago.

·2 years agoThat is old wording on the error message. The "Resolution Center" was done away with as an actual place to deal with cases several years ago (it is now just a page of links). You would need to go to your Seller Hub (or My eBay: Selling) to find any open cases and deal with them. And it might not be that, writers and editors of eBay error messages seem to be very bad at their jobs--over the years they have gotten less specific and accurate (and up to date as you found out); it seems that eBay is more concerned with corporatespeak than with actual communication of what the reader needs to know.
