Account Restriction
@everyone, I received a notice from Ebay that my account was restricted and payouts suspended but the notice was in German. I am in the US and never sold outside the US.
I am being asked to submit proof that I own the items I am selling with a recent receipt of when I purchased these items.
My account and payouts are in fact restricted but nothing has been removed, my items are still selling...I am just not getting paid.
Ebay customer service in of NO HELP!
Any idea if this German message is a scam or real? I don't want to give my personal info out to the wrong people.
Anyone with a similar experience? Thank you to everyone in advance.

Mentor1 year agoI am in the US and never sold outside the US.
One of the feedbacks you received was written in German. Quite possibly that is why you received a message from ebay written in German. Make sure you are logged into https://www.ebay.com

OP1 year agoI am logged into https://www.ebay.com and I see that the feedback you mentioned was a customer from Germany, go figure. The buyer assumed he was getting 2 items when the listing clearly stated "keychain" and NOT "keychains". Nevertheless, why or how does ebay germany have any control over my ebay US account?
