Account restriction
I am a new seller on eBay. I have noticed my account is "restricted" and that I am supposed to check an email or message regarding what to do next. I have never received such an email. This restriction is not allowing me to add other items to sell. I have attempted to reach out to eBay support staff though instant message and the askeBay twitter account. Does anybody have any ideas as to how I can get this restriction removed?

Make sure the ebay registered name is EXACTLY identical to the name on your checking account, including middle initial or middle name.
Make sure you also register a physical street address, no P.O. Boxes. That can be changed later if needed.

OP2 years agoThanks! When I saw this response, I checked the card on file for paying fees and I hadn't put in the security code. I updated that and hopefully that will fix the problem!
