Account restricted due association from a different user
So apparently my account is suspended due to the fact Im associated with an account ive never heard of before. Last week i made a sale went through with no problems until the money was due to be paid out. My account was restricted due to yearly check up supposedly and i just needed to wait up to 5 days to be resolved. 3 business days later I was messaged by ebay saying i needed to provide more information but didnt say what information. The message also stated they noticed that my account was a risk to the community and suspended all activity. I called and was told just to email saying I already uploaded the inforamtion needed, which was nothing because the email didn’t ask for anything. One thing the customer service rep ask about was my tracking information on the last sale. I told the rep that the item was already delivered to the buyer( was shipped for authentication and the label was purchased directly from eBay) and the buyer had already left a positive feedback. I also asked why was I a risk to the community but was given the answer of this is normal and everyone goes through this. Well today I received a message stating my account is suspended until i resolve my issues with another suspended account that I’ve never heard of. Has anybody ever dealt with something like this before? I feel like eBay has been coy about this up to this last email and I haven’t been given any opportunity to fix a problem that was completely unknown to me. How can I deal with an account that I have no association with? Can I post the user name on the account that’s being accused of being associated with mine? I am ready to provide any information requested but haven’t been asked to provide anything. So confused and frustrated.
