Account Restricted and Money Withheld
Typical eBay situation where they do not protect sellers and only try to make our lives harder. I've been a seller for almost 20 years and have a store where I primarily sell dvds and blu-rays from my collection. Recently, I decided to start selling my used designer clothing that I no longer want or need. Somehow, this caused my account to be restricted. eBay has authenticated items I've sold but they refuse to release my funds until I provide receipts of the items I'm selling. I don't know about you but I don't keep receipts from 5-10 years ago. After providing eBay with my ID, some receipts and an explanation, they still have my account restricted and request the same information that I simply do not have. We're going in circles and I don't see an end in sight. Meanwhile, they're holding onto my money without an option to get a payout. Customer Support is absolutely pointless. They all say to just keep responding to the department requesting the same things I do not have. Has anyone else experienced this situation? I love my little store and I'm sad to say this but at this point, I just want my money and to close it.
