My account was selected at random for review, I didn't violate any policies, this was not due to any wrong doing of mine, just completely random. All of my listings were removed, and my payouts put on hold. Initially, ebay was requesting proof of delivery of any items I had sold, which I gladly provided. At some point they requested that I verify my ID, bank account, and documentation showing that I had recently purchased the items I was selling which was to include: The vendors information, the items I purchased, how many items and price per unit as well as my payment information. I have been in the process of moving for the last couple months so my access to paperwork like that is rather limited right now, I was able to find an invoice for a very large purchase order from a few months back that shows most all of the items I've sold. Including item count and price per unit. I paid in cash so it just shows the total purchase amount and that I have no outstanding balance. I submitted this to ebay for review, but they said it would not suffice. My account has been on hold since May, over $1000.00 remains in my funds that I am unable to withdraw, and I haven't been able to post any listings. I don't understand why I'm being asked for this particular information anyhow, I have never seen anywhere in the policy that Any items you sell must be items that you recently purchased yourself, and only with a credit or debit card. What if I had acquired the items for free, or as a trade? Or if they were given to me? I also purchase storage units at auction so I often sell items from those, but I don't ever receive an itemized listing of everything that was in the storage unit, it's just one invoice with the winning bid amount. So is there a rule that says that members can only list items that they have recently purchased with a credit/debit card, and have a receipt for, for sale on ebay? Also is there a way I can just get my funds released for right now and then focus on reinstating my seller abilities later on? I really need that money to pay my bills, I was counting on it. Appreciate any help or insight!!
