I got the email below that my account is only temporarily locked however when I called eBay agent they said that my account is permanently suspended and there is nothing I can do to reinstate it. Also they said I will never be able to open the eBay account again with my information. I’m a legitimate seller and have all documentation to provide so there really is nothing I can do? I called 2 agents and they both said the same thing.

If you were actually banned from selling then the listing should be ended ASAP or you might not get paid if it is sold.

However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verify that the name and address on your eBay account matches your brick and mortar checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#. You can not use a PO box for your registration address as seller but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service

Then Type Verify Checking account in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.

Mentor1 week agoHi @vietvibe_studio2 Were the two eBay telephone agents wrong? It looks like they were mistaken since you currently have an item listed for sale. It looks more like you provided eBay with the additional information it wanted in order for you to sell and your selling account was reinstated. Good luck!

OP1 week agoThe first 2 agents told me my account was permanently banned and nothing they could do. They also said I would never be able to sell on eBay again using my information. I requested the third call from a different agent. She asked me a lot of questions to confirm my identity and reopened my account. I’m not sure what’s going on internally with eBay agents. However it’s clear that the first 2 agents were not willing to help and just wanted the call to end soon. The third agent was patient and asked me a lot of questions to get my account open!

We can not call eBay agents. They have no user-available inbound lines. We have to use the Help pages to request a call back from them. If you think you called eBay, I suspect you obtained the phone number from the internet. There are a lot of them there, but every one is false. Some are relatively benign, lead to pay-for-help sites; while others connect you to scammers who will try to wheedle information from you, typically credit card or bank account information so they can steal from you.
