Account on hold "restricted" needs verification. No support help.

Wow. new to Ebay and find getting help disappointing and frustrating. Ebay owes me over $1k for 20 days now.

My account was on hold/restricted status - I needed To verify my phone number which was corrected weeks ago. Finally got some live and they informed me it would be resolved in 24-48hours. Still not fixed. The various help numbers say I am calling outside normal business hours - which I have tried during all time of the day/night.

Is delaying payment normal? Seems like an easy fix....Just getting the run around.

All new Sellers have their funds held for approximately 30 days in the event of a Buyer dispute. EBay allows Buyers to request a refund for up to 30 days and the Seller needs to have the funds available to cover that. This is especially true for certain categories and higher value items.

Once you have additional successful sales, eBay will begin to release your funds sooner.

Ebay no longer has a direct phone number to call. If you go to Help and Contact on eBay you can request request a call back.
