Mentor2 years ago@josgan_4774,
You may be getting the message because you are currently logged into ebay's U.S. based site (ebay.com) but you are registered in the U.K.. Try logging into the U.K. site (www.ebay.co.uk)
Once there try to make a purchase if that is what you were trying to do, when you received the message.
For future reference, if you find an item from a seller located in another country, who ships to the U.K.and click on the See other items or the seller's store button, you will be directed away from the U.K. site, to their home site. To get back on you can go to your browser's history and go back to the last page of your home site. If the foreign seller's site is the last page you are on when you log out, you will be directed back to it when logging in.
FYI, as a new member you will have a limit on how much you can spend and/or how many items you can purchase at one time. The limit is applied to all new buyer's accounts, and to accounts that have been dormant for over a year. Click on the link below to read about the limits.
