account management - adding a credit card
I sold a couple items but ebaY doesn't have a current card number for me on file. I can't collect my payments. I tried to add a card but it asks me for a PIN number. I never added a PIN number to my account. It says to go to START / ACCOUNT to add a PIN number. I cant find that site. And of course, you can't get help from ebaY on anything. Guess ebaY will taker my $200?

OP8 months agoI have been an ebay seller since 2002. Have a bank account on there, just trying to add a Debit card since old ones have been deactivated. EbaY keeps sending me to a PIN ID page. I never crated a PIN and when I try to go to the Forgot My PIN page, it tells me to go to SETTINGS, APPLICATIONS. I can't find that page.

Mentor8 months ago@willys36 I understand but it appears that you are a RETURNING seller. eBay may require the checking account to be reverified before you can choose to use Express Payouts to a debit card again, which do cost $2 per transfer even for scheduled payouts.
Have you tried changing your payout preference to your checking account on this page>

Then Type Verify Checking account. In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.

You should have a checking account set up to receive your payouts and a debit card can be added later. Below is a link to the Help page for Getting paid and then below that is a link to the Financial summary page where cards can be added, payout frequency set, etc. A "credit card" can be added as a back up payment method for fees, refunds, etc.

As a low activity Seller (only 2 items sold in the last 90 days) your funds may be placed on Hold for up to 30 days.

OP8 months agoMy cards expired so I am trying to upload a current card. ebaY keeps sending me a message to put in a PIN number. They tell me to go to SETTINGS - ACOUNTS to get a new PIN number but I can't find that location. have never made a PIN number so I guess I am out of luck. Hope they enjoy my money!!

Mentor8 months ago@willys36 You need to have a checking account linked for your payouts.
If you do not already have one then you need to add one to receive your payouts.
Once eBay considers you an established seller again then you can use Express Payouts to a debit card again.
Here's how to change bank accounts and if you have any problems you can contact eBay customer service for help from #3
#1 First make sure your name and address on your eBay account match your new bank account exactly:

#2 Next try this: Go to your payments page and select Add Payment option.
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Then select add bank account and add the new account.
Then if the old account is not automatically deleted you will need to delete it.
