I have a store on ebay, (Antiques & Accents), which I also have a brick and mortar store in Florida. I started
dealing with ebay as a store in 2010. I have recently started using ebay a lot more dur to my store downsizing.
Ebay had a 250 unit per month limit so I started listing. Now that I'm at 100 units you have put a $20,000.00 limit on me. I have several items that I still want to list however, as I said my limit is only 20k. I have one watch that is 20k it self. I keep up with my store as well as my online store. Let me know what I need to do to be able to sell on ebay. It also worries me that it's so hard to communicate with ebay.

OP2 years agoI think I figured out the problem. I was listed as a starter store I changed to premium. I hope that will fix the problem.

Paying for a store does not increase your limits. The premium store is likely a waste of money.
If you fully understood the eBay Money Back Guarantee, you would not want to list a $20k item here. Certainly not yet. New sellers will be targeted by n’er do wells and scoundrels. Keep your head on a swivel.
No returns doesn’t mean you won’t be refunding. Be sure to send a return label when a buyer says the item is not what they ordered. Not sending that label, eBay will refund the buyer without them returning the item.
As a new seller, you will have your payments held.
Items over $750 need signature confirmation of delivery.
It’s great to have enthusiasm for this new online selling venture. Just know eBay is not your business partner and they are not your friend. They are first, your buyer is next, and you are at the bottom.
Never list what you can’t afford to lose.
