What is the process to stop ebay access to my bank account?

·2 years agoYou sold an item. eBay will want to have that bank account available for 6 months so they don't have to pay out of their pocket if the buyer should come along later and file PayPal dispute or a credit card chargeback.

Mentor2 years agoeBay accesses you bank account for two reason:
1. To send you your payouts.
2. To collect money you owe (unless you've set up a debit or credit card for this purpose).
I'm assuming you're fine with receiving money. It's the collection of money I suspect you are having a concern over. If so, read here:

If that is not acceptable to you, then you'll need to stop selling.

OP2 years agoI don't want them to have access after the payment is made. There seems to be no answer posted on their site, and the chatbot has no answer. I thought someone here might know the process.

There is no process. eBay has access to the account for refunds.
This is why many sellers/businesses have a seperate account from their personal account.
