Accidentally sold but disputing remarks
As first time seller I listed it wrong as with no offers, no reserve, etc but my listed price sold it immediately to one and only person after 7 days.. I was shocked and he demanded me to ship it immediately, I explained but he insisted saying I had his money and I reposted it, both wrong. I kept my item, his money that eBay had cause they didn’t have my bank a count info to send to was given back to him, I relisted but have his inaccurate negative remark and “ buyer beware “ warning, I have 30 views so far but no bids or offers, any recourse for a newbie?

Mentor2 years agoHi @fauxr-83 Before you list ANYTHING you need to read and learn how eBay works. It is best learned by BUYING things, as suggested by @gosimus. Everything is available on eBay. I would also suggest, however, that you abandon this account and open a new one to start your buying. It's a long haul to come back from a -1. Read these question-and-answer boards to learn the common mistakes of selling and how to avoid them. Read the eBay Help pages starting at the link below. I agree with the advice by @tenbigdogs to abandon this account and start anew. I wish I'd thought of that. Starting with one negative feedback, you'll need to get 68 positive feedbacks – and no additional negs, of course – to raise your percentage barely to 98.6%. That's the number, easily remembered as body temperature, we always consider the lowest percentage that a seller should have.

Not really. You bungled your first listing and got slapped with a negative feedback and whatever defects eBay tacked on. Neither eBay nor most of its buyers are renowned for their forgiving nature. You need to get that negative out from beside your name. Start buying things, any things, cheap stuff, stuff you'd buy anyway. Before buying, check to see that the seller is diligent about leaving feedback for his buyers; one good sign to watch for is if his number of feedback Left for Others is larger than his feedback Received. You might have a long grind in front of you, hang in there. Good luck.
