Accidentally purchased two shipping labels

I accidentally purchased two shipping labels for the same package. It’s my first time selling something on eBay so I didn’t understand what buying a shipping label meant, I thought I was paying to receive the file to print it out and that it didn’t include shipping so I refunded the first shipping label. After consulting with a friend, they reassured me that it did include shipping so I purchased it again, thinking the refund would go through. But now that the item has sold and has been delivered, the funds reflect that the first shipping label hasn’t been refunded. I don’t really know what to do. If it’s my fault, I’ll just take the loss but I did ask for a refund so I feel like I should be able to receive one. Thank you for any advice you can give

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
(eBay Standard Envelopes are an exception. Label charges for this program are non-refundable and non-voidable once the label is purchased/printed. https://pages.ebay.com/sell/standarddelivery/termsofservice.html)
