Accidentally ordered on a guest account with the same email as actual account
Hello, as described I have ordered an item using a guest account, since I use ebay so rarely I forgot I already had an account. Now all the deadlines for delivery have passed and I would like to get my money back, which I can only do by logging in eg creating a new account, which ebay won't let me do, as my email is already associated with an ebay account.
At the same time the order has also not automatically been attached to my main account using the same email so I cannot take the necessary steps for a refund through there either.
I have found a thread from 2016 with the same exact issue, however there was no helpful info on there at all and I'm frankly baffled that almost 10 years later, this has not been resolved. The only option ebay gives me, is to talk to their completely braindead AI-assistant, which to noones surprise hasn't helped me a bit, or call me from Utah, where I'm also not sure they actually did call because my phone never rang and I only got the missed call notification. As I live in Europe, I would also appreciate not having to take a call from the US which would probably end up costing more than the order is worth.
Is there any help anyone can render here? I would like to just write to an actual human being, as I cannot for the life of me imagine this issue would take longer than 5 minutes to solve, but I can't find any contact info anywhere.

Purchases made as a guest are not connected to your eBay account, so for help with a guest purchase you must first sign out of your current eBay account, then use the "order details" link in the email you received from eBay regarding the guest order, or else open the link by right clicking on it and choosing to open in a private or incognito browser window.
