Accidentally opened a new account

Question

I mostly use EBay on my mobile app, but when I am home I like to use my computer, I tried using my password...got them mixed up and I couldn't get in somehow I opened a new account which was not my intention. I still have my original account on my mobile app..should I go ahead and delete the other account and try again? It was so frustrating...whenever I was sent to the enter your contact information box I would fill it out and it wouldn't move forward.

Can someone help me figure out how to get to my original account...I have had it since 2003

Sign out of this new account that you created, and sign into your old account, using the email address or user ID, and password. If you forgot the password, there is an option for that.

Later you can sign into this new account and go to this link to close it:
