Accessing Guest Purchase
I recently purchased an item as a guest and sent the purchase confirmation to the same email address that I use with my ebay account. When I try to sign in to username auto-generated by the purchase confirmation email, I go through the steps to reset the password on the guest account, but then the login interface rejects the new password I set. It then bounces me back to logging in with the email address, which is connected to my actual ebay account. I would ask ebay directly for support, but I can't figure out how to contact them, I'm just bouncing around customer service articles.

Or you can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.
