Accessing ebay's new app

Question

Every time I try to log in I'm told that I can't use the existing app and must install a new app.

When I do that and then try again to log in I get that same message.

I've tried countless times now always with the same result.

I have items listed for sale and wish to make changes to some of those listings but can't because I can't access Ebay.

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
