Accepting returns and refunding orders
I sold an item that the buyer claims did not work and then claims the return shipping label did not work. Ebay wants me to buy and send another shipping label. How can I be sure that the buyer will return the item when he has already made a false claim of the item not working and the return label not working? Am I better off just letting the buyer keep my property since the cost of all the shipping will leave me with about 20% or less of the original amount paid by buyer? I am very leery of selling anything else on eBay? Is anyone else experience problems of this nature? Any input and information would be appreciated.

If the buyer does not return the item, then you do not issue a refund.
