Thanks to everyone who jumped in to help this newbie figure this out. I misinterpreted what I was seeing, and, of course, you are all correct and I was not. I appreciate the total support. End of inquiry.
You have a BID on auction that was placed 23 Nov 2024 at 2:20:25pm PST. It does not expire. You can cancel it but unless you do that before the auction ends (or the bidder retracts it before 12 hours left to go in the auction) it will enter into the winner and price calculation when the auction ends tomorrow at 12:49:04pm PST (or earlier if you choose to end the auction early to sell to the highest bidder). If nobody else bids before the auction end s/he will win for your Starting Price of $325.00 at that time.
Can you post a screenshot where you are seeing this expiration date/time? Try not to show the bidder's real eBay ID (eBay wants it hidden from everyone but you and the bidder; we see "7***r (651)" where you would see his/her eBay ID. Or copy and paste the text in context (removing the actual username but leaving in the Feedback Score e.g. the "(651)" for the bidder we can see).
Thank you for responding. I have a live listing and have received a bid on it. The bid has a time limit that is before my listing expires. I would like to accept it. I have read everything I can find. I'm new at this, obviously. I listed a Beginning Price and a Buy-it-Now price. Should I have put an automatic something on it? Ebay did not send me an email about the bid.

Mentor1 year agoHi @bonniker4
You can only accept an offer … not a bid. [Bids are placed on auctions by the buyer … without needing any input from the seller.]
Did you receive an offer you want to accept before the auction ends? Did you receive it in a private message or as a formal best offer?

Do you mean offer?

OP1 year agoThanks for responding. It says it is a bid, and it has an expiration date and time listed that is before my listing ends.

·1 year agoYou do not accept bids ,the highest bid at the end of the auction wins the auction.
Again bid do not expire until the end of the auction there is nothing to accept.
