Accepted bid offer not being processed. Item is in limbo, twice; same Buyer
Buyer made offer on 12/3; nothing happened on eBay and I mean NOTHING. Same buyer made same offer on 12/6; offer accepted AGAIN. Nothing again, still in limbo. Attempts to find a way to contact a live agent NOT successful! How does one correct this demonstration of INADEQUATE CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Mentor1 year agoOnce you accept the offer, the buyer has 4 days to pay. On day 5, you can file a cancellation for Buyer didn't pay.

·1 year agoActually the buyer has 24 hours to pay to get the item (unless someone else gets it first) according to other posters describing bits and pieces of what happens (eBay is really bad about telling users how eBay really works especially for new things like this). There is no "transaction" until the buyer pays (either manually or by pre-authorized automatic payment, if you are enrolled in that in your Buyer Requirements page) and another buyer can use the Buy It Now, or place a bid if it's an auction format listing, or make another offer (I'm not sure whether the seller can safely accept multiple offers at the same time with the first to pay getting the item, that should be the case but "should be" isn't always how eBay actually is). I am fairly sure that you cannot cancel for nonpayment after 4 days because there is no "transaction" or "order" to cancel since that doesn't happen until the buyer actually pays.
