Accepted best offer but no confirmation
I posted a Buy It Now item. A user made an offer two days ago, I countered, and they declined. We had a quick exchange over messages afterward that I would be willing to take their initial offer, but they said they purchased another item instead. Very cordial, no conflict at all. Today, I received a notification that they made another offer at their original bid on the item. I reviewed and accepted it, but see no evidence or confirmation that I did or that the sale is pending...? I've seen similar posts on this forum that says this is typical until the buyer pays. But I kind of expected to see something about the sale pending at least. There's no record at all that I accepted it, so it makes me wonder if this was some kind of glitch, given the history of this transaction. Any thoughts you have are appreciated!
