·1 year agoA seller can at any time end an auction that has an active bid early to sell to the then high bidder at the then "current bid" amount (not at the buyer's hidden "maximum bid" or some other amount that the bidder might be promising). Go to the Site Map (link at the bottom of this and most ebay.com pages) Sell Section (use the shortcut at the top--it's a long scroll down) and you'll find the link to that and several other useful seller tools.
But WHY would you want to do so? This is a tool to be used where the item is time sensitive and/or there is a natural or artificial cap on what it can sell for (think event tickets as an example of both).
