I sold an item yesterday and the buyer told me it was a gift For daughter, asking I text her for more details, giving me her phone number.
I responded to her via 'Contact buyer' but she did not respond. I waited overnight.
I then texted the phone number but the text went to her daughter ! Who told me that I was a creep for texting and a dumbass for messing up the surprise gift.
I need to know if I should cancel the order: with a recipient that abusive & critical, the 20# item will likely be returned in the same box and damaged. It is an antique piano stool.

Mentor2 years agoI would wait until Sunday and see if she ever responds. You really want her to ask you to cancel the purchase - if you cancel now, you must use the reason I am out of stock/can’t complete the transaction and give yourself a defect.
A good reminder to always keep correspondence through eBay messages.
