abuse from seller
I recently ordered a dress that was listed as being in excellent condition. It arrived with extensive damage that was not mentioned or shown in the listing, and it also smelled incredibly bad, so I took photos and requested a return. I did receive a refund, but the auto-email from Ebay says the seller is responsible for return shipping.
Meanwhile, the seller has ignored my requests for a shipping label, but has accused me of "scamming" her and trying to keep her dress. I posted negative feedback explaining the situation as a heads-up to other buyers, and it has been mysteriously taken down, perhaps because of the refund? But Ebay let her leave a review for me claiming that not only did I lie about the damage (despite the included photos), but that I am trying to steal the dress!
I can't figure out how to contact Ebay about this situation, because their "report a seller" options don't include harassment, and their AI chatbot is useless. As far as they're concerned, I received a refund, and the order is complete. I really do just want this (super stinky) dress out of my house. I don't even have the seller's address so I can pay to ship it back, not that I am particularly interested in doing so.

Mentor5 months agoIf the seller refunded you, you can dispose of the dress however you like. If she wanted the dress back she would have accepted the return and issued a return shipping label.
