about who's in charge of the refund fee?
I pre order an item maybe few weeks or months ago? it was supposed ship in may, I change my mind and want to cancel it, but the seller to me if he had to refund eBay will took 37$ from the 220$ overall purchase so he will only refund me around 180$ is that true? if that's so am I the only one responsible for the fee?

·3 years agoThe pre-order policy says items on pre-order have to be delivered by 30 days. The listing violates policy.
If he cancels the transaction on eBay, eBay will give him credit for the fees they charged, all but .30, and you get all your money back.

Mentor3 years agoYou are not responsible for the fees. If you made your purchase less than 90 days ago, the seller can refund the full amount and eBay will reverse the fees, so there isn't even a fee to worry about.
Sellers are only permitted to sell items that can be delivered within 30 days. So I would politely tell the seller that you expect a full refund, or you will ask eBay for help and have to explain that he is not following the pre sale policy.
If he still doesn't cancel your purchase, ask customer service for assistance.
