I received a return label with a deadline of Feb 4th. However, I am currently abroad and cannot send the package by then.

Unless there is someone available to send the item back for you then you risk losing the return and refund if the Seller does not receive the item by the specified date on the claim. The Seller can have eBay step in and close the return claim thus voiding your refund.
