A seller"s difficulty with international delivery .
Dear Forum ,
I live in the United Kingdom , and I would like to purchase an item from a seller in the United States . The seller has informed me that they would love to be able to sell the item to me , eBay n'r 226103585351 , but unfortunately , they say that it cannot be sent through eBay's international shipping service . I am puzzled as to why this may be , and I am wondering if anyone may know the reason , as the seller has been unwilling to clarify this themselves .
Thank you .

·1 year agoThe seller may have opted out entirely to ship items internationally or that particular item falls into one of the Items/Categories that eBay considers to be "Restricted".
According to eBay:
Items that are shipped to buyers in the UK need to comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations. We have put measures in place to prevent US items that may not comply with UK regulations, such as CE Certification and/or Plugs and Sockets Regulations, from being sold to buyers in the UK.
Also due to export limitations and restrictions, items listed in the following categories cannot be shipped with eBay International Shipping. This is not an exhaustive list and it may be updated based on transportation regulations and export laws.
