A seller wants me to close my case before he resents my idem ? Should I do that ?

I bought an air compressor and had to open a case - the seller wants me to close the case before he resends it ? Should I close the case or is that some kind of scam ? Thanksâ€¦

The seller is trying to scam you! If you close the dispute, you cannot open it again.

The seller has 2 options when you file a dispute. Send you a return shipping label to return the item or issue a refund if they do not want to pay the return shipping cost. If they do neither or as this one did, ask you to close the dispute within 3 days, on day 4 you can open the dispute/Return, and ask ebay to step in. They will issue a refund from the seller's account.

FYI, Avoid buying from sellers based in China in the future.
