yesterday I asked a seller about an item...

and he offers a discount and free shipping to my country..

and he asked me to transfer the money to his bank account!

My question is..

IS THAT LEGAL??

Keep all communication and transactions in eBay so you have buyer protection. The seller is trying to avoid paying final value fees due to eBay.

That would be a scam ... if all you do is send money to a bank account then that is all you have done ... send money. Purchase through the eBay site ...
