A seller using Yodel who failed three times is going to resend it by no request of mine
I tried to buy an item - approximately £9 or $12
I saw the delivery would be by Yodel - perhaps the worst delivery company in the UK. I gave them my correct address. The Royal Mail have delivered parcels and letters already (we've been here 3 weeks).
So first day comes and around 8PM there's a notice on the delivery page the driver needs more information about my address. I get with the chat person and give him directions, a description of the property, the corner and two streets it is on and the postcode of the Red Lion Inn directly across the street and my phone number. My own postcode is entirely just this building.
Second day - same thing - "driver needs more information" and I get on the chat again yet the driver is too far. I make sure they have all the same information from the day before and that it's provided to the driver for the third day.
Third day same exact thing. I am with the chat guy within 5 minutes of the "needs more information" and say I'll go out looking for him if he tells me where he is. Nope, now the package is on its way to the depot for 7 days starting today (2 days after last attempt).
I've been messaging the seller all along. He says he'll contact them and help. Whatever he may have done of course didn't help. I ask him if he'll provide a refund as I don't have a car (and it's a 50 mile roundtrip anyways). He says he will refund when he gets it back. I tell them, well, "that's how it works" when items are not delivered.
Today he sends a message saying he will contact Yodel and ask them to deliver it again and to be patient. I tell him NO five times and that the countdown is on till he HAS TO refund me. I will never again wait for Yodel or try and help them find a house that my 95 year old mom's birthday card (to me) was able to make it.
It's only £9 yet I am furious at the seller's attitude (Yodel is beyond help). It's 8 hours till I can contact an agent.
